Many of you have seen firsthand the benefits that our new infrared technology has to offer. We use this technology to look into the walls of your home to detect termites and moisture. Through our use of this camera, we have discovered that the camera can see much more than just termites. We can detect plumbing leaks, potential electrical hazards, missing insulation, mice nests, and so much more. At the request of so many homeowners, we are proud to announce a new division of Mares Exterminating.
This new division - Mares Inspections - is designed to help you, the homeowner, maintain your home. We offer an array of inspections that will allow you to customize a package that is right for you.
House Call Program – Annual Cost $450 (up to 2500 sq. ft.)
- 7 point inspection covering: Structure, Exterior, Heating and Cooling, Electrical, Plumbing, Roofing, Ventilation
- Up to three additional visits per year to address any concerns
- Telephone consultation
- Includes your yearly termite protection
With this program, you can choose one of the below inspections to go with the House Call Program, or choose one by itself for only $125.
- Energy Savings – concentrates on areas where you are losing energy
- Fire Safety – alerts you to potential fire hazards in and around your home
- Child Safety – focuses on how to prepare your home for small children
- Senior Safety – inspects and identifies potential hazards for our elderly customers
We now also offer Mold testing. Why test for mold? Mold is the invisible enemy that pollutes the air you breathe. Several types of mold have been known to cause health issues such as skin rashes, asthma flare-ups, and flu-like symptoms. Taking samples of the indoor air and comparing them to samples of outdoor air allows for a scientific methodology to determine if you have a mold problem. All samples are sent off to an accredited laboratory for expert analysis. Mold testing is priced on a per sample basis.
